IT IS just a little under a month until the annual Run 4 Wayne event hits Echuca’s Aquatic Reserve March 5.
Organiser Lindy Leyonhjelm said this year they are Doin’ it for Kev and she is urging the community to get behind this fantastic fundraiser.
‘‘This year we are supporting the family of Kevin Wilson who passed away from oesophageal cancer in June 2016. His wife Bronwyn and son Luca are coming to terms with their loss and with no immediate family close by, we would like to help ease the burden for the family,’’ Lindy said.
Registrations are open from 7am Sunday morning and include either a 2.5km, 5km or 8km event.
Entry is $25 for adults, $10 kids, $50 family of 4, $60 team of 4.
The event will be followed by a family fun day which includes jumping castle, barbecue breakfast, coffee van, face painting, raffles and more.
Fundraising T-shirts are available for purchase up until February 17 with all proceeds going to Challenge- supporting kids with cancer.
Tickets and shirts can be prepurchased at www.run4wayne.org.au or visit Facebook Run4Wayne
