Rich River

The club’s annual general meeting on Thursday saw history made as the men’s and ladies committees amalgamated.

The club’s new president is Margaret Griffiths with Robert Holmfield as vice president.

Taking the reins as secretary is Peter Moon with Toni Beck as his assistant. The meeting was well attended with several positions being decided on ballot.

All intending pennant players for the coming season are requested to place their names on the midweek or weekend lists immediately so their selection committees and president can forward anticipated team details to the Campaspe Valley Bowls Division by their AGM date.

If unable to list in person, they should contact either Peter Moon or Toni Beck. Members should note the club’s first joint committee meeting will take place at Rich River Golf Club on Friday May 11 from 9am.

Tuesday’s winter indoor bowls will commence on May 22 from 11am at Moama Sports Club. Names will be taken at the club until the day of play by phoning 5480 6444.

Any queries should be directed to Jan Hocken on 5482 1954 or Jan McEwan on 5482 2686.
