ANOTHER two goals for Angus Grigg has him sitting in the top 10 of the competition’s goalkicking.

The Moama original is back to help his beloved Magpies this year, and has been a major inclusion in the side.

Not only for his goalkicking, but his ability to go back when needed.

‘‘It hasn’t always worked too well for me,’’ Grigg said.

‘‘I’ve had moments where I have gone down and played loose in the backline and it hasn’t gone too well, but we’ve also had moments where it’s paid off for us as a club.’’

After a tough stretch, Grigg said it was positive to see the club getting into a positive position for the rest of the year.

‘‘We obviously had a stretch against some really strong opposition in the early stages of the year which helped us to see where we are at,’’ he said.

‘‘We’ve found some things that we can continue to work on as a side that can hopefully make us better as the year goes on.’’
